1. Information Collection
The MCAET Examination Portal collects registration details including student roll numbers, faculty codes, names, email addresses, phone numbers, genders, dates of birth, academic programs, and departments. This data is strictly mapped to the university registration records and is used solely for the coordination and conduction of online examinations.
2. Exam Integrity and Session Logging
During live examination sessions, the portal logs details like user IP addresses, active login sessions, exam start and submission timestamps, and responses. These logs are maintained securely to protect the integrity of the evaluations and detect unauthorized session access or fraudulent activities.
3. Cryptographic and Key File Security
Administrative access keys (Cryptographic Admin Key Files) and password tokens are encrypted in transit and at rest. Administrators and faculty members are strictly advised to maintain local key file privacy and log out after sessions to prevent credential exposure.
4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Policy
All data processed on this portal is held by Mahamaya College and Narendra Deva University of Agriculture & Technology. Student credentials and academic scores are never shared with third-party advertising services or external agents. Compliance reports may be shared with State University auditors and cyber regulatory cells upon legal mandate.
